Pierre Gagnaire’s veal piccata shows how cooking with coffee and champagne can give surprising, complex results. Rather than overpowering the dish, the coffee elevates the flavors of the delicate veal, the earthy morels, and the Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé.
Celebrate the sweet flavors of winter with scallops cooked in clementine juice, and brought to life with a splash of Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque champagne. The fattiness of the scallops, the delicate citrus notes of the orange, and the bitterness of Puntarella chicory work together to create a dish that is as complex as it is comforting.
Aromatic herbs, fresh citrus and velvety mascarpone come together to create an elegant and sensual amuse-bouche. Created to perfectly complement the vivacity of Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blanc, these Gaya Oysters by Chef Pierre Gagnaire are surprisingly simple to prepare, yet are sure to leave a lasting impression.
Nature has been at the heart of Maison Perrier-Jouët for more than 200 years. A constant source of inspiration, it has now resulted in a new, eco-designed gift box that is both beautiful and sustainable.
A new series of seven podcasts entitled “Artisans of the Wine” and featuring Hervé Deschamps has been created to nourish the memory of the three decades he has dedicated to his passion for champagne. Each episode is a conversation with a personality from the worlds of wine and gastronomy whose path he has crossed during his long career.
The transition from one cellar master to the next is a key event for any champagne house, but for Maison Perrier-Jouët, which has had just seven cellar masters in over 200 years, it is truly a historic moment. In October 2020, Séverine Frerson will become the eighth cellar master – and the first woman to hold the position – in the history of the House, which was famously founded from the union of Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët in 1811.
As the world went into lockdown in spring 2020 following the Coronavirus pandemic, Maison Perrier-Jouët’s Artisans of the Wild opened a virtual portal into their homes to share how they kept creative throughout quarantine with the At Home With series. Forming a dialogue from London to Paris, Milan to Mexico, each Artisan showed how they found inspiration at home to keep up their respective practice – ranging from dance to design – and how their communities came together to support key workers as well as each other.
In these trying, uncertain times, we know that safety measures must be taken seriously. To ensure the well-being of the Maison Perrier-Jouët team, we have paused activity on all of our sites, with the exception of our vineyards. Thanks to a small number of extremely vigilant experts, we will be able to continue to nurture nature with the same care as we have done for over 200 years.
We want to encourage and congratulate everyone doing whatever they can to help. Now, more than ever, we must take care of one another, remember the things that truly matter, stay positive and – above all – stay safe.
Maison Perrier-Jouët launches its very first print magazine supported by free-spirited personalities
On 13th February 2020, at Alex Eagle Studio in London, Maison Perrier-Jouët launched its very first magazine: a cultural and artistic exploration of the House’s singular vision of the world and nature that has driven it since its foundation in 1811.
Kicking off Design Miami/ 2019, Maison Perrier-Jouët unveiled “A Banquet of Nature”: an experience filled with surprising moments of re-enchantment to reconnect guests with nature and one another. “A Banquet of Nature by Perrier-Jouët” engaged guests in a new artistic tasting ritual, nourished by the creativity of Artisans of the Wild, who were present at Faena Hotel during the House’s inaugural banquet. The collaboration between these creative friends of the House and Maison Perrier-Jouët formed an authentic and unprecedented dialogue between nature, champagne, design and cuisine.
