We were fascinated by the test that Perrier-Jouët is doing related to regenerative viticulture. So, for us, that was our starting point of a long process that almost lasted two years. This projet with Perrier-Jouët aims to demonstrate how design can reconnect with nature.Formafantasma
Heritage
True to the free spirit of Maison Perrier-Jouët, Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Rosé is a resolutely original champagne which combines rarity with the ability to surprise. First created in 1978, it is crafted only in exceptional years and produced in extremely limited quantities.

Collaboration
Since 1811, Maison Perrier-Jouët has been known for its savoir-faire and the quality of its champagnes. It is also known for the botanical interests of its founders, their passion for nature and their relation to art which have been transmitted over generations. Each year since 2012, the House continues to bring to life this legacy by commissioning today’s talents of art and design to highlight the complexity of the living world and the ecological interconnectedness between species.
In 2024, in a grand reinterpretation of Art Nouveau’s veneration of nature, the renowned design studio of Formafantasma is partnering with the House to develop the designers’ vision of an interactive work of architecture for both humans and wildlife. Named Cohabitare, the architectural installation interacts with mankind as well as with the local floral and fauna.
Inspired by Nature
Made from paper pulp and vine cuttings*, Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Cocoon was designed to enhance the bottle, and offer an organic and naturel feel. Incredibly lightweight and streamlined in style, it was made using as few resources as possible.
* Approximately 5% of vine cuttings
"This wine’s combination of richness and delicacy reminds me of the texture of a ranunculus – preferably a beautiful pale pink one, similar in colour to Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé.”SÉVERINE FRERSON
