Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé is like a rose petal, with a delicate texture on the top and, hidden underneath, the veins which bring strength, structure and tension.SÉVERINE FRERSON
Heritage
Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé was inspired by Maison Perrier-Jouët’s Blason de France prestige cuvées, which were introduced in 1955 and served in some of the world’s finest restaurants. Crafted with gastronomy in mind, its generous, complex flavours can accompany an entire meal, overturning traditional notions that rosés should be reserved for dessert.
The moment
Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé is such a wellbalanced, superbly structured wine that lends itself to the most adventurous food pairings. “Try it with a rib of beef on the barbecue – it has the character and the charisma to rise to the occasion,” says Séverine Frerson. Other delicious pairings include duck breast with a blackcurrant sauce.
Generous and charming, delivering notes of ripe peach, stawberries and pears complemented by hints of fresh bread. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, its sweet core of fruit is girdied by ripe acids.WILLIAM KELLEY (WINE ADVOCATE, 2020)
