Heritage
True to the free spirit of Maison Perrier-Jouët, Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé is a resolutely original champagne which combines rarity with the ability to surprise. First created in 1978, it is crafted only in exceptional years and produced in extremely limited quantities.
The moment
“Like all our vintage cuvées, Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé needs to be enjoyed in a leisurely manner,” says Séverine Frerson. “I would savour it with a meal, in a warm, convivial ambiance that reflects its character.” Ideal pairings include salmon or tuna cooked on one side only, salmon with cranberry sauce, pigeon or thinly sliced duck breast.
Pale peachy color. Attractively fruity yet elegant nose with sweet peach, candy, and burned-sugar notes. Lots of ripe fruit there, compacted and generous. The freshness is still there, complemented by the perfect creaminess of the mousse. Juicy and mouthwateringly zingy.ESSI AVELLAN (THE WORLD OF FINE WINE, 2020)
