The palateLingering freshness with a surprisingly smooth, mellow finish.
We were fascinated by the test that Perrier-Jouët is doing related to regenerative viticulture. So, for us, that was our starting point of a long process that almost lasted two years. This project with Perrier-Jouët aims to demonstrate how design can reconnect with nature.Formafantasma
Heritage
The arrival of Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs in 2017 completed the classic collection with a single-grape cuvée destined to become the enduring expression of Maison.
Perrier-Jouët’s savoir-faire in revealing the quintessence of Chardonnay. In fact, it perpetuates a tradition dating back around a hundred years: the House introduced its first all Chardonnay cuvées in the 1920s, long before such champagnes became known as “Blanc de Blancs”.
Formafantasma
Collaboration
Since 1811, Maison Perrier-Jouët has been known for its savoir-faire and the quality of its champagnes. It is also known for the botanical interests of its founders, their passion for nature and their relation to art which have been transmitted over generations. Each year since 2012, the House continues to bring to life this legacy by commissioning today’s talents of art and design to highlight the complexity of the living world and the ecological interconnectedness between species.
In 2024, in a grand reinterpretation of Art Nouveau’s veneration of nature, the renowned design studio of Formafantasma is partnering with the House to develop the designers’ vision of an interactive work of architecture for both humans and wildlife. Named Cohabitare, the architectural installation interacts with mankind as well as with the local floral and fauna.
The structure of this cuvée recalls the grace of the Carnation, an emblematic motif of Art Nouveau. Its notes evoke the delicacy of this flower.SÉVERINE FRERSON
